Psychotrauma

The primary cause of BPD is absorption of a significant degree of Psychotrauma prior to the age of 18. It is important to assess this as carefully as possible. Our PTE-Psychotrauma Exposure Scale-will help you to do this.

What Can You Do Now

  1. Take the psychotrauma exposure test to measure your level of childhood trauma.

  2. Start a recovery journal to describe how each day makes you feel. What makes you feel good and what events make you feel bad. Tie your feelings to events that take place so you can begin to better understand your changing emotions.
